Shell wins EVe first contract to deploy fast charging hubs in HDB towns
This award supports the Government’s plan to enable every HDB town to have at least one fast charging hub by end-2027.
EV-Electric Charging Pte Ltd (EVe), a subsidiary of the Land Transport Authority (LTA), has awarded its first contracts to Shell Singapore Pte Ltd and SP Mobility Pte Ltd for the deployment of fast charging hubs across six sites located within HDB estates.
This award supports the Government’s plan to enable every HDB town to have at least one fast charging hub by end-2027. With EVs accounting for 55% of all new car registrations in January 2026, the new hubs will help address rising demand by providing fast charging options that complement the existing slow-charging network, giving EV users greater convenience and flexibility.
