Shell signs BioLNG supply agreement to support Singapore’s energy transition

Shell has signed a bio-LNG supply agreement with Knowledge Integration Services (KIS), enabling Shell to supply biomethane, regasified from bio-LNG, to customers in Singapore starting in 2027.

Bio-LNG is a renewable fuel derived from organic waste that helps reduce lifecycle emissions and can be used without major infrastructure changes. This agreement adds to Shell’s suite of lower-carbon energy offerings and supports Singapore’s efforts to diversify its energy mix.

This collaboration is part of Shell’s Powering Progress strategy to deliver more and cleaner energy solutions and to profitably transition to a net-zero emissions energy business by 2050.
