Their innovative solution: a smart, eco-friendly mosquito-repelling candle made from used coffee grounds and repurposed orange peels. The candle automatically activates during high humidity, prime mosquito conditions, making it a practical tool to fight against dengue. The prototype was tested in classrooms over several weeks, with feedback gathered from 20 fellow students. The result is a creative, sustainable approach to a real-world health challenge, powered by science, innovation, and a passion for change.

According to the inaugural Shell Recharge driver survey in Singapore, environmental considerations and cost savings are the top benefits of driving electric vehicle (EV). For drivers to adopt EV, more needs to be done to demonstrate the widespread nature of the charging network. Rebates and incentives are also a key consideration in adopting EV.

FueLNG, has named its newest addition to the fleet, the LNG bunker vessel FueLNG Venosa, at a ceremony held in South Korea.

The MoU is to expand collaboration on the decarbonisation efforts in Maritime Singapore, including the adoption of electric harbour craft. The MoU signing took place at an event by Shell to unveil the first of a series of electric ferries in Singapore, and the first for Shell globally.
