Shell FuelSave  is designed to work by reducing energy losses in the engine by lubricating where your normal engine oils can't easily reach. Enabling the engine to turn more freely results in more of your fuel's energy being available to drive the wheels, improving the efficiency of your engine and thereby providing you with improved fuel economy.

Combustion is most efficient when precise amounts of air and fuel are mixed together at the right time. With some conventional fuels, deposits may form over time on the back of the inlet valves. Like all our fuels, Shell FuelSave has been formulated to meet the specific needs of certain drivers. We designed Shell FuelSave for drivers who want to improve their fuel economy at a competitive price. Other Shell fuels meet different needs, offering, for example, high-performance motoring.

Can I use Shell FuelSave and other, non-Shell, fuels?

Yes. Shell FuelSave can be mixed with other automotive petrol fuels. However, this may reduce the efficacy of the fuel. To make the most of the fuel economy benefits its efficiency improver is designed to provide  , we recommend using Shell FuelSave every time you refuel.
