Designed to reduce energy losses in the engine
Shell FuelSave is designed to work by reducing energy losses in the engine by lubricating where your normal engine oils can't easily reach. Enabling the engine to turn more freely results in more of your fuel's energy being available to drive the wheels, improving the efficiency of your engine and thereby providing you with improved fuel economy.
Formulated to help keep your engine clean
Combustion is most efficient when precise amounts of air and fuel are mixed together at the right time. With some conventional fuels, deposits may form over time on the back of the inlet valves. This can lead to delays in the required fuel charge entering the engine and a poor mix of fuel and air. All of which leads to a reduction in your engine’s efficiency – and a less economical ride. Shell FuelSave is designed to prevent the build-up of these deposits, helping to keep your engine cleaner and your fuel consumption lower.

Can I use Shell FuelSave and other, non-Shell, fuels?
Yes. Shell FuelSave can be mixed with other automotive petrol fuels. However, this may reduce the efficacy of the fuel. To make the most of the fuel economy benefits its efficiency improver is designed to provide , we recommend using Shell FuelSave every time you refuel.
