Shell Energy Dialogues
The principles and systems are in place to contribute to sustainable development. The challenge is to continuously engage stakeholders, both internal and external, and to address gaps in implementation. The Shell Energy Dialogues represent Shell's commitment, and perseverance to effectively engage internal stakeholders, governments and customers, in meaningful social dialogue and, ultimately, mutually beneficial outcomes.
Dr Cho Khong, Shell’s Chief Political Analyst presenting on Energy Scenarios
Today’s world sees volatility in the oil industry causing financial, technical, environmental and political challenges. These challenges require all of the industry’s combined skills and capabilities to deal with them through:
- recognizing opportunities when they arise,
- creating new options through technological innovation, and
- sharing risks and rewards through partnership.
Guests from the energy industry, research institutes, academia, government agencies and non-government organisations are invited to participate in these dialogue sessions, which provide a platform for expert opinions, business perspectives and scientific expertise to be heard.
