Shell opens state-of-the-art lubricants blending plant in China
Zhuhai, 26 November 2009: Shell Lubricants today announced the start-up of its newest lubricants complex in Asia to meet growing demand in China. With a production capacity of 200 million litres a year, and the potential for a phased development to 400 million litres a year, the complex could become one of Shell’s top three lubricants blending plants worldwide in volume terms.

Over 100 Asian teams Gearing Up for Shell Eco-Marathon Asia 2010
Singapore, 17 November 2009 - Youths inclined towards technological innovation from across Asia are gearing up for the upcoming Shell Eco-marathon (SEM) Asia 2010, a fuel-efficiency challenge organized annually by Shell. At the close of registration on 31 October 2009, 109 student teams from many of the foremost universities, polytechnics and schools in the region have signed up to take part in the challenge. These institutes come from 11 countries - China, India, Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia, Pakistan, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. SEM Asia will be held from 8 -10 July 2010 at the Sepang International Circuit, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Singapore, 11 November 2009 – Qatar Petroleum International and Shell Eastern Petroleum (Pte) Ltd (Shell) today signed a series of agreements which will see Qatar Petroleum International take a stake in two Shell Chemicals joint ventures in Singapore.
