Visit Make the Future Singapore

We’re inviting schools to join us with their Primary 5 – Secondary 5 students on Thursday 16 or Friday 17 March, 2017. Students will have the opportunity to explore how people use and create energy in everyday life. Highlights include:

  • Hands-on activities, in our dedicated Maker Zone
  • Interactive science shows from leading education entertainers
  • Engaging careers experiences with scientists and engineers
  • Interactive exhibits exploring how people use and create energy.

Schools can also watch teams battle it out in the world famous Shell Eco-marathon student mileage competition, which challenges more than 100 teams from 21 countries across Asia to design and build the most fuel-efficient vehicles. Visitors of Make the Future 2016 Live in London said visiting the paddocks was a real highlight; as schools had the chance to see hundreds of inspiring university students make the final tweaks to their cars.

We will also be offering free coach travel for a limited number of schools to the event on a first come, first served basis – spaces fill up fast!

More in Make the Future

Singapore: Cleaner Energy Moves Asia

Shell Powering Progress Together comes to Singapore for the first time on 16 March 2017. It will bring together a wide range of stakeholders across all sectors to discuss, debate and catalyse cross-border collaborations to tackle future energy challenges.

The Bright Ideas Challenge

We believe the answers to tomorrow’s energy challenges lie in young people’s ingenuity. That’s why we’re inviting secondary school students, aged 13-16, to imagine innovative solutions to power the cities of the future.
